Put the finishing touches on your dream…
The process:
1 ) THE CONSULTATION – After our initial contact, be it phone, email, or contact form from this page. I like to meet with potential clients to get a feel for their project. We will arrange a time to view the space where you’d like my work placed and discuss the details of your vision. Pricing options will be discussed at this time as well. Once you are satisfied that we are on the same page creatively and financially and I agree to bid the project in it’s entirety we will proceed to step 2.
2) THE SKETCH – After an initial meeting to discuss parameters I will provide a preliminary sketch, it is common for me to modify and improve upon that once the client approves the job. In this case, I will provide a version of the original design that will have added details. It will not have EVERY detail that will be found in the final painting, nor will it be as good or precise as the final, but it will help to make sure we’re all on the same page.
The final sketch DOES NOT need to be completed before I start on the mural since there are many elements of the mural that need to be completed before the final details are added.
3) THE PAYMENT(S) – I have two ways I charge and typically it is up to the client. These are effectively “draw schedules”. One way is 50% up front before the final sketch is prepared with 50% due upon the completion of the mural.
The other is 30% up front before the final sketch is prepared, 30% at the approximate midway point (which is somewhat of a guess on my part as to when that is), and 40% due upon completion. This is your choice.
*Additional draws may be negotiated varying on the fluid nature of a project. i.e. Changes or additions made mid project may lengthen the timeline changing the draw schedule and overall cost.
4) THE SCHEDULE – I generally like to take on one mural project at a time to focus my efforts and abilities solely on your project. We will work out a painting schedule that works for both of us before agreeing upon the project. I like to set days and times I’m allowed to be in clients’ homes or businesses ahead of time so staff, family, etc are aware of my presence and needed access and to smooth the process and aid in timely completion.
